The Role

WildBrain Spark is looking for a Senior Producer to lead our step into kids gaming content and deliver new shows on our slate to join our Production team! Reporting to Director of Production you will be an ideas machine, logistics expert and a creative leader in the team.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day show running, executive producing, and leading production teams across original short-form productions on owned and third-party brands.
  • Pitching new show ideas on existing and new brand using our content methodologies for the YouTube platform with insight and audience led creative
  • Works with the Commercial, Distribution and Marketing teams to plan and deliver and then executes with a customer-centric attitude.
  • Lead creative feedback across the production pipeline across multiformat, live action, animation, and gaming (let's play and machinima) content
  • Build out our technical capture pipeline and review with new technologies (vtuber mocap), along side over seeing the direction of in game machinima content
  • Confidence when discussing detailed story, character, animation styles, music and post sound
  • Build out and approve budgets and schedules, and understand how creative decisions impact both
  • Work with our legal team on ensuring we have all appropriate rights and paperwork, so have confidence reading a contract and supporting others in this process
  • Find suppliers, freelancers and crew that deliver against the brief of the production
  • Be a leader in the team and help build and establish the culture of the production team

Qualifications

  • A proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and patience, understanding the ever-changing video production environment.
  • Strong understanding of the growing video game content space, bonus of a knowledge of the trending kids gaming space, e.g roblox, minecraft, among us, five nights at freddie’s
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoys interacting and building relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Candour and professionalism to challenging situations
  • Extremely process driven with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Good understanding of animation workflows across 2D cut out and traditional, 3D and stop motion. Ability to know when each format is best suited for a production and how to maximise on a limited budget.
  • Door always open attitude, and able to provide clear, constructive criticism to producers in the team.
  • Ability to achieve results through influence and problem solving.
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude - able to work across multiple areas of production, creative, script writing, storyboarding, shooting, postproduction management.
  • Experience of content creation on a variety of digital platforms. A strong understanding of social media and channel specific content.
  • Can prove themselves to have a high standard of creative ability and understanding of character and story needs.
  • An engagement in data and insight, and pulling the creative towards discoveries made through analytical analysis
