About the Role

 

We are looking for a Head of Content Operations to join our Operations team!

 

Reporting to VP, Operations you will be leading the management of content both internally and externally for the leading network of premium kids’ content on YouTube. Leading the media operations and rights teams, being a point person for YouTube and Clients (both internal and external) and overseeing processes to ensure our day-to-day operations are efficient and effective.

Responsibilities

Every day is different and brings new problems and challenges to solve. Typically you’ll be:

 

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of content from clients, internal production, and catalogs.
  • Lead our anti-piracy (content ID) process to ensure IP is protected for our own catalog and on behalf of clients.
  • Manage our scaled YouTube ecosystem across >800 channels and multiple CMSs ensuring best practice is applied to content management and monetisation.
  • Work closely alongside our data & technology team to develop and leverage our bespoke range of tools (e.g., uploading & reporting).
  • Manage client relations from a content management perspective, including onboarding and offboarding.

Qualifications

  • Deep experience working in a scaled YouTube environment (e.g., MCN, Major Studio) including reference ingestion workflows, complex ownership / rights setups and transfers.
  • Deep understanding of the YouTube platform including channel management, asset, reference and claim management, monetisation and managing multiple content owners.
  • Experience of complex internal content workflows and media asset and production workflows.
  • Understanding of distribution contracts and media rights management.
