The Role


WildBrain Spark is looking for a Creative Producer to work on a brand-new 3D animation series, based on a major kids pre-school brand, for distribution on YouTube. Reporting into the Executive Producer and working alongside a Head Writer and Music Producer to deliver on the creative brief; an exciting opportunity to work with motion capture on a hybrid narrative/music series.


This is initially a full time, 12 month, Fixed Term Contract for what will be a 12+ month project.


  • Day to day running the creative of the series from concepting to final product and instrumental in defining the show creative alongside the creative team.
  • Work with the Distribution and Marketing teams to plan and deliver the series to best facilitate launch of episodes for success.
  • Lead creative feedback across the episode concepts, scripts, character design and animation pipeline.
  • Confidently discuss detailed story, character, animation styles, music and post sound feedback.
  • Work with the Line Producer to deliver the project on budget, on brief and on time.
  • Be confident handling the approved budget and schedule and understand how creative decisions impact both.
  • Find suppliers, freelancers and crew that deliver against the brief of the production as required.


What You Will Bring:

  • A can-do attitude, creativity, and enthusiasm for the project; embracing and diving into this pre-school brand with excitement for the opportunities the project presents.
  • Experience producing narrative content for children preferably in the pre-school space. Short form content experience specifically preferred.
  • Great understanding of animation workflows across 3D pipeline from script to screen. Motion capture workflow experience is a bonus.
  • Experience working on a music-based project would be ideal.
  • Experience of content creation for digital platforms and a strong understanding of social media and channel specific content.
  • Can prove themselves to have a high standard of creative ability and understanding of character and story needs.
  • A proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and patience, understanding the ever-changing animation production environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoys interacting and building relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Candour and professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to achieve results through influence and problem solving.
