The Role


Wildbrain Spark is looking for a Production Assistant to work on a brand-new 3D animation series, based on a major kids pre-school brand, for distribution on YouTube! Reporting to the Line Producer and Creative Producer, you will assist the production team to deliver the project on budget, on brief and on time.


This is initially a full time, 12 month, Fixed Term Contract for what will be a 12+ month project.


  • Support production in delivery of 3D animated series as directed by the Line and Creative Producer.
  • Aid with creative reviews; helping to ensure the highest standard of content.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to move the project forward.
  • Book and arrange travel, transport and accommodation as required.
  • Script preparation and printing for vocal recording sessions.
  • Organise meetings and voice over sessions, across multiple time zones, facilitating the smooth running of the production.
  • Management and filing of assets; organising and logging incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Maintaining production tracker; keeping project progress and workflows up to date.
  • Understand and work with the budget and schedule in mind, helping to ensure the project is delivered on budget and in time.


  • Enthusiasm; a passion for animation, children’s content and an eagerness to listen and learn.
  • Understanding of animation workflows across 3D pipeline from script to screen.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment is ideal.
  • Comfortable adding feedback on creative assets from script, through the animation pipeline, to final post-production sign off.
  • Able to read, understand and contribute to key production paperwork.
  • Understand the principles of budgeting and scheduling and the implications for production.
  • Able to self-prioritise, stay organised and use own initiative to provide support to the team.
  • Excellent time management; able to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humour, understanding the ever-changing production environment which could include unsociable hours.
  • Good communication; able to develop and maintain good working relationships during the production process and enjoys interacting and building rapport with internal and external partners.
