Role Overview

 

Reporting to the Marketing & Brands Director, you will provide a design service to the WildBrain Spark marketing and sales teams working on trade marketing, business development and social publishing. We require a flexible designer to interpret, recommend and create the implementation of effective design to maximise revenues. You will work on a range of brands and briefs and will be responsible for managing all workload using an appropriate project management tools and establishing an effective briefing system and presenting designs for approval.

Responsibilities

  • Act as central design resource for WildBrain Spark across the UK and US teams.
  • Apply brand guidelines to create visually compelling design materials and ensure all teams understand and adopt our branding through training and workshops.
  • Implement an internal briefing process to manage stakeholders, balance and communicate workload and identify needs for agency or freelancers.
  • Create new presentation template designs, logos, social graphics for original IP and 3rd party brands, creating brand guidelines and advise on creative direction for production assets.
  • Design content to populate our website, blogs, case studies and seasonal graphics.
  • Create visuals for pitches to advertisers including mock-ups of channels and in-game ideas.
  • Art direct showreels, creating bespoke graphics for sales and case study videos.
  • Brief and manage all external suppliers and freelancers, and supply creative assets to 3rd parties.
  • Organize and keep all design work in central system, with an easy to follow the naming system and establish process for archiving.
  • Share and help us adopt industry-leading best practices, creative trendsand adhere to accessibility standards.
  • Identify costs for agency work, training, subscriptions and fonts required and update the design budget each month.

Qualifications

  • Degree level or relevant design related qualifications.
  • Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong portfolio of work demonstrating layout, typography, communication.
  • Solid understanding of production techniques, capabilities and restrictions.
  • Experience and knowledge of digital including social, and print mediums.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects across a number of brands.
  • Experience of agency management and creative accountability.
  • Able to remain flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of an evolving digital business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with various stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-starter and problem solver with experience of working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative judgement and excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Experience developing online design; HTML and updating basic sites on WordPressSolid.
